My heart has a special place for children of all ages and for divergent learners. Learners who struggle in the traditional classroom to find their voice. Students who’s giftedness does not align with classroom parameters. Children who experience the world differently and struggle to fit with their peers. Traditional learners searching for a place and time to explore their ideas and flourish.
I am dedicated to meeting your childs social and emotional needs as well as the real education needs of every student. It doesn’t matter whether their learning style is traditional or divergent, or if they’ve been historically underserved by the school system. Every student has the ability to succeed, if they’re given the opportunity – and I want to give it to them. It is from this place in my heart that Cornerstone Academy, a youth learning & activity center, was born.
I graduated from Stevens Henager with a Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy. I began to rethink my life path and realizd that teaching was my gift so I opened a professional preschool and activity center in Utah. I worked in early childhood education for 5 years and then moved to Idaho. I attended the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence Program earning my K-8 teaching certification. I have since taught K-6th grades in Utah and Idaho since 2014. I am married to a wonderful man, have two amzing grown children, a son in law and a new grandson that I adore. We also have 2 big Bernese Mountain Dogs. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, golf and social events.

Christopher Cade
Owner& Director of Finance and Transportation
I am a co-owner along side my wife Jami, Director of Finance and Transportation at the Cornerstone Academy. I works hands-on with students, parents and employee development. I find there is great fulfillment in mentoring and working with people of all ages, integrating life skills and lessons at every opportunity.
I find that conscious communication and interaction build positive and meaningful relationships. I view all experiences in life as ways to learn, develop and make progress as a person, a teacher, and a student of life.
I was orgionally born in Michigan and moved to Colorado where I stayed for many years until I met my wife Jami and followed my heart to Idaho.
Throughout the years I have been in sales and transportation, owning my own transportation company.
When not working with other's I enjoy riding my Harley, traveling, golf, and the outdoors as well as spending time with my family and our giant dogs.
I am looking forward to building a succesful program along with my wife whom has a very strong passion for child development and education. Together we are excited to be bringing Cornerstone Academy Learning & Activity Center to the amazing people of Gooding County at its surrounding areas.
